Inspirada Parks & Recreation Guide

Inspirada has seven parks across roughly 85 acres, linked by a planned 35-mile trail system. Every one of them is a City of Henderson public park — open to anyone, maintained by the city, 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. What is not public are the five heated pools and the Solista community center inside them: those are Inspirada Community Association amenities and need a resident access card.

The distinction most people get wrong: you do not have to live in Inspirada to use these parks, the splash pads, the dog parks, the pickleball courts or the ball fields. You do have to live here to swim. Sentiero Park opened in November 2025 as Henderson’s 75th park and the last of the seven — the community is now built out on parks.

Sentiero is the newest park in Inspirada and the last one the community will get — it completed the park plan when it opened in November 2025 as Henderson’s 75th park. It serves the Via Napoli, Aversa and Battipaglia side of the community, a stretch that previously had a long walk to anything.

What’s there: lighted basketball court, multi-purpose fields, open turf and grass areas, playground, picnic ramada, picnic tables, barbecues, shade structures, restrooms, dedicated parking, direct open-space access, and a heated resident pool.

The Overlook

Not a park exactly, and easy to miss: The Overlook sits on the south side of Bicentennial Parkway between Via Firenze and Via Inspirada, and it is the spot in Inspirada with the valley view — the Strip skyline to the north, the whole basin laid out in front of you. Worth the walk at sunset. No amenities, no parking lot, just the view.

35-Mile Trail System

Connecting Inspirada’s parks and neighborhoods, the trail system provides paths for walking, jogging, cycling and exploring. The trails feature:

  • Paved pathways suitable for all activities
  • Exercise stations along routes
  • Distance markers
  • Shaded rest areas
  • Scenic viewpoints
  • Trail maps at major intersections

Inspirada’s developer publishes 35 miles as the figure at full build-out. Trails also connect out to the wider Henderson system — see the City of Henderson parks and trails network.

Reserving a park, ramada or the community center

There are two different systems, and which one you use depends on what you are booking.

For a ramada, picnic area or sports field — that is the City of Henderson, because these are city parks. Book through the city’s online reservation system. Reservations need to be made at least two weeks ahead; residents can book up to 180 days out; blocks are two hours. Picnic areas that nobody has reserved are first-come, first-served. Current city fees run $20/hour for a small picnic area up to $80/hour for a large event area, with a surcharge for non-residents and for late bookings.

For the Solista Community Center — that is the Inspirada Community Association, not the city.

Pool access — what you actually need

Five of the seven parks have pools: Aventura, Potenza, Attesa, Sentiero, and Solista (which has two). These are the one part of the parks that is not public. Every adult needs their own Inspirada Community Access Card and scans in at the gate; minors have to be with an adult. Cards are issued by the community association and take up to 48 business hours to process during pool season, so this is not something to sort out the morning you want to swim.

Pools are heated roughly mid-March through mid-October. For current season dates, hours and rules, go to the association directly.

Park programming & events

Inspirada’s parks host community events and regular programming through the year — farmers markets, fitness and yoga classes, community celebrations, holiday events, movie nights, sports leagues and children’s activities. Schedules shift season to season; the association’s calendar is the place to confirm before you go.

Hours & access

  • Park hours: 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, set by the City of Henderson
  • Who can use them: all seven parks are public City of Henderson parks — open to residents and visitors alike
  • Pools: Inspirada residents only, community access card required
  • Solista Community Center: Inspirada residents, bookable for private events

Common questions about Inspirada parks

Are Inspirada parks open to the public?
Yes. All seven Inspirada parks — Montagna, Aventura, Capriola, Potenza, Attesa, Solista and Sentiero — are City of Henderson public parks, open 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. The heated pools inside five of them are the exception: those are Inspirada Community Association amenities and require a resident access card.
How many parks does Inspirada have?
Seven, across roughly 85 acres, plus The Overlook viewpoint on Bicentennial Parkway. Sentiero Park opened in November 2025 as the seventh and final park, so the community is fully built out on parks.
Which Inspirada park has pickleball courts?
Montagna Park, at 3495 Via Altamira, is the only Inspirada park with pickleball courts. It is also the largest park at 26 acres and has the community’s two baseball fields.
Which Inspirada parks have pools?
Five: Aventura, Potenza, Attesa, Sentiero and Solista. Solista has two — a family pool and a lap pool. All are heated, roughly mid-March through mid-October, and all require an Inspirada Community Access Card.
Which Inspirada parks have dog parks?
Montagna, Aventura, Capriola and Attesa. Attesa has two separate runs, one for small dogs and one for large dogs.
Can I reserve a ramada at an Inspirada park?
Yes. Because these are City of Henderson parks, ramadas, picnic areas and sports fields are booked through the city’s reservation system, not through the HOA. Reservations are required at least two weeks in advance and unreserved picnic areas are first-come, first-served.
What is the newest park in Inspirada?
Sentiero Park at 2716 Via Napoli, which opened in November 2025 as Henderson’s 75th park. It has a lighted basketball court, multi-purpose fields, a playground, ramadas, barbecues and a resident pool.
